It's part of the lyrics to a popular Bulgarian song and roughly translates as..

You're no good for a thief, my son, you're too easily fooled, if your heart has been stolen by some woman.

A Turkish friend of mine has asked me. I don't know where he encounters this phrase.
Thank you very much for your help bgbazz.

this quote is written in slovinian and phil-h has the translation correct although the other translation is more or less correct. If your friend has taken on a girl friend or a wife they are telling him in no uncertain terms that he is a stupid fool!

You could be right Chrissy..as I said earlier, it's also part of a Bulgarian song which is sung in my house often.

I know the 'dirty' version as well Chrissy and can say that it's not for 'delicate' ears..bit of a bawdy ballad! Have to say it's very nice to be called 'my dear' by a girl younger than me.
